This Mediterranean / Tuscan home received a modern refresh. We eliminated the outdated built-in plant shelves and recessed niches to give the walls a seamless, modern look. Then simply updating the color palette from yellow-beige to a modern greige with the wall color and carpeting upgraded the residence. Installing new light fixtures, furniture, décor and artwork throughout gave the home a more finished look. The most dramatic transformation was the update to the formal dining room from a bold Tuscan red to a soothing blue-grey paint color, with new captain dining chairs, reupholstered side dining chairs, fresh white cotton patterned sheers, artwork and a sparkling chandelier to create a focal point. The sunroom was enhanced with new Mediterranean tile for the fireplace and a contemporary mantel and a cheerful color palette for furniture and décor.
